We have only started our first batch of your Manuka honey and find the flavour better than any honey we have used in the past.We both use the quality honey to help protect us during the winter months but my wife uses the 600 and 900 to help with her digestive system as 16months ago she had colon surgery because of diverticulitis and looks forward to a reversal in coming weeks/months and Manuka honey is an excellent health food because of it's antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. I received my pack just in time to test out how good this honey is for colds, I was just in the beginning of getting a cold and I started using the 900 at night just before bed was so surprised that in a matter of minutes it cleared my airways and helped me sleep. I also used the gummies to sooth my throat, they taste so nice! Also I burnt the roof of my mouth on hot soup, usually this takes days to heal, after my nightly dose of the 900 I didn't even feel like I had burnt it the next day. Now I'm taking the 300 in the mornings and 600 before bed this is helping with my hayfever allergies and I feel more energetic through the day. These gummies are GREAT!!! I started my family on the Manuka honey about 2 months ago but I had trouble getting my 13 year old son to take the spoonful of honey on its own. I got these gummies in a pack I bought on tv and instead of the honey I got him to have one of these everyday. They’re so easy.
I loved trying the Gather by Manuka Honey MGO 100+. I’ve long heard the health benefits it provides and now understand the rave about the product. I am now officially a fan, few weeks ago I had signs of a sore throat and beginning of a cold coming on. I started to eat a small teaspoon of the Gather by Manuka Honey MGO 100+ in the morning or have it drizzled on my muesli. Not long my throat was healed and a prevention of the onset of a cold was gone. The honey is smooth and not too thick or sweet. It has a lovely consistency and is easy to eat. Would recommend!

I enjoyed trialling the Gather By Pure Australian Manuka Honey (MGO 900+). It is high quality in comparison to some other Manuka honey brands I’ve tried and it has a pleasant, natural honey taste that’s slightly bitter. It’s rich, thick and concentrated so I find a small amount is potent and full of goodness. I was experiencing some cold and flu symptoms recently and after consuming a small amount of this honey for a few days and I felt that my symptoms reduced significantly. I highly recommend this Manuka honey as it tastes great and is great quality too.

While New Zealand is known for its single variety of Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium), Australia is home to over 15 different varieties of high-active Manuka bushes, all contributing to the production of this exceptional honey.
Manuka honey stands out due to its high levels of Methylglyoxal (MGO), a compound responsible for its potent antibacterial effects. Unlike regular honey, which relies mainly on hydrogen peroxide for its antibacterial activity, Manuka honey’s effectiveness is attributed to its non-peroxide activity, ensuring it remains effective even when hydrogen peroxide is neutralized.
MGO stands for Methylglyoxal, a naturally occurring compound found in Manuka honey. MGO is the primary factor that gives Manuka honey its unique and potent antibacterial properties, setting it apart from other types of honey.
Methylglyoxal is important because it is a robust antibacterial agent that remains stable over time, even when exposed to heat and light. This stability means that Manuka honey retains its antibacterial properties and effectiveness longer than other honeys, which rely mainly on hydrogen peroxide for their antibacterial activity.
The concentration of MGO in Manuka honey is measured in milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg). The higher the MGO rating, the stronger the antibacterial properties of the honey. For example, an MGO rating of 100 means there are at least 100 milligrams of Methylglyoxal per kilogram of honey.
DHA stands for Dihydroxyacetone, a naturally occurring compound found in the nectar of Manuka flowers. DHA is the precursor to Methylglyoxal (MGO), the compound that gives Manuka honey its unique and potent antibacterial properties.
The UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) rating is a trademarked term used predominantly in New Zealand to measure the antibacterial strength of Manuka honey. This rating system was developed and is regulated by the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association (UMFHA) of New Zealand, which holds the patent for this specific measurement.
The UMF rating measures the Non-Peroxide Activity (NPA) in Manuka honey. NPA refers to the antibacterial activity that is not related to hydrogen peroxide, a common antibacterial agent in most other types of honey. Like in Australia, the UMF rating also considers the presence of other important markers like Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and leptosperin, ensuring the honey’s authenticity and potency.
